Read this quote from The Matrix where Morpheous describes the Matrix.

The Matrix is a system, Neo. That system is our enemy. But when you’re inside, you look around and what do you see? Businessmen, Teachers, Lawyers, Carpenters…the very minds of the people we’re trying to save. But until we do, these people are still a part of that system, and that makes them our enemy. You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so innerred, so hopelessly dependent on the system that they will that they will fight to protect it.

That description is a perfect description of American society when it comes to laws such as the income tax and how we allow ourselves to be controlled by our government. The Matrix is an almost perfect allegory of America today.

We the People and the Continental Congress have published their Articles of Freedom that delegates of the 50 states created during the Continental Congress. The government has violated the Constitution for far too long and it is time that we remind the government that we are the ones with the power and we delegated it to them. I thought Orwell and Huxley’s books Brave New World and 1984 were both about oppressive governments. Guess I was wrong. Reading this little comic strip enlightened me and definitely shows that Huxley was right.

A teacher asked her 6th grade class how many of them were Obama fans.

Not really knowing what an Obama fan is, but wanting to be liked by the teacher, all the kids raised their hands except for Little TJ.

The teacher asked Little TJ why he has decided to be different…again.

Little TJ said, “Because I’m not an Obama fan.”

The teacher asked, “Why aren’t you a fan of Obama?”

Little TJ said, “Because I’m a libertarian.”

The teacher asked him why he’s a libertarian.  Little TJ answered, “Well, my Mom’s a libertarian and my Dad’s a libertarian, so I’m a libertarian.”

Annoyed by this answer, the teacher asked, “If your mom were a moron and your dad were an idiot, what would that make you?”

With a big smile, Little TJ replied, “That would make me an Obama fan.”
