The First Vote For Ron Paul in Utah?

I probably just submitted the first vote for Ron Paul in Utah. Certainly, one of the first. I just completed voting in the Utah primary using Utah’s early voting option. I was unaffiliated with a party, so I had to sign a piece of paper stating that I was changing my party affiliation to Republican. After that, I requested a paper ballot, which caused the election officials to have to make changes on their computer since they assumed I was going to using the voting machines. Then they gave me a ballot that looks a lot like those multiple choice tests in school where you fill in the circles. I filled in the circle for Ron Paul and sealed it in a secure envelope they gave me. Then they had me put the envelope in a red case of some sort that had a slot for the envelopes. The Red case looked kind of like a laptop case with a carrying strap but more sturdy.

This raised a question in my head about how paper ballots are counted. They are probably counted by machine as well. I saw a video the other day on YouTube that demonstrated a machine that counted ballots. It’s kind of like a fax or copy machine. You slide the ballot into the machine and its sucks it in and scans it. The guy did a very simple demonstration with 8 ballots that showed the machine failing to count the votes properly. These things are programmable as well.

At least when you vote with a paper ballot there is the actual paper ballot as evidence of your vote.

A Simple Way Paul Voters Can Beat Fraud

I think this is just brilliant.

Whenever you vote, just request to vote with a paper ballot. The suspect machines are eliminated from the equation and the paper serves as evidence of your vote. And spreading the word creates publicity for Ron Paul and our beliefs. Simply brilliant.

Vote Fraud cheating Ron Paul (and us)?

I was disappointed in the New Hampshire results for Ron Paul. I was thinking how could Americans be so gullible and vote for the same establishment candidates (like Hillary Clinton). We’ve had a Bush/Clinton president for almost 20 years. Elect Hillary and it could be 28 years. Has life in the USA been improving? I don’t think so, yet we keep electing the same people.

Then I saw this interesting post by Duane Johnson talking about possible vote fraud in New Hampshire cheating Ron Paul out of some votes. It looks like he should have received 15%, which was exactly what he was polling. It would have been a solid 3rd place and a great showing.

There is a war on the Constitution and what is left of this republic. Ron Paul is the front line of our defense. Everywhere we can, we must support him and make sure the rule of law is followed and he is given a fair chance. Right now, the establishment is doing more and more to knock him down. In a way that is a good sign. We’re making progress and they are afraid. However, we must keep on fighting. It is only going to get worse before it gets better.

There is a move to have a recount. They need money to make this happen. Please donate if you can. You can donate online on Duane’s post.
